My talk compares each attribute of human cognition to its counterpart in artificial intelligence to establish “where we are” with respect to achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI). I then proceed beyond this framework to discuss potential scenarios of how our future might play out with AI. This is not a tech talk, but more a perspective on AI as a fast moving technology that will have a profound impact on all of humanity.
