Christian is the CEO and co-founder at Cartken, a robotics software company developing AI-based navigation systems for delivery robots in industrial transport and last-mile applications. Previously, Chris was at Google – working on semantic knowledge models in Search and Maps. He later led the BookBot project for autonomous delivery robots, which he started in Google’s Area 120. Prior to Google, Chris worked at Bosch on machine learning and perception for humanoid robots and autonomous vehicles. Chris has a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany.
