Ben has tackled hard tech challenges across different industries, with commercial success scaling many products from 0 to millions. His early career focused on innovative PVD/CVD metalization equipment at Applied Materials. At Apple, he launched portables and enabled glass for the first iPhone. He led hardware at Meraki from an early stage through its $1.4B acquisition by Cisco. As part of the founding team at Samsara, Ben leads all things hardware and operations (including edge AI devices). Ben is also an investor and holds an S.B. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford.
