Susan R. Kirsh, MD, MPH is the Deputy Assistant Under Secretary for Health for Discovery, Education and Affiliate Networks (DEAN) at VHA, overseeing Research, Health Professions training, and Innovations. With a 28-year career at VHA, she has served in diverse roles. Dr. Kirsh holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Ohio and a Master of Public Health from Case Western University. She teaches at Case Western Reserve University and holds other academic appointments.
